We're the Mysliwiec family — two parents, seven children, twenty acres in the Ozarks. We've taught regenerative design across 27 states and two countries, put 200 hives into family homes, and shared a stage with Joel Salatin. This is where all of it stops travelling and puts down roots.

A year ago we moved onto twenty acres in the Ozarks with seven children and a conviction that a family should own the source of its own food and water.

Year one went into the bones — the things you can't grow your way out of later. Power. Shelter. A place to work. The studies that tell us what this land can carry. The foundation is under us now, and the plan itself is what comes next — and everything we build on it is designed to be copied, taught, and handed to the next family.

Track Record

This isn't our first build

We didn't arrive here with a theory. We've spent years putting this work into other people's yards, and teaching it from stages across the country.

Two hundred hives, and no credit taken

Jamon didn't start that first one. He was called by his stake presidency to spearhead it and led it for two years, while a church and community put two hundred hives into family homes across roughly five counties. In his words: "All I did was drive. I didn't build the car."

What came after was ours. Another hundred or so hives of our own custom design — built, assembled and delivered by hand, every single step, by Jamon, Rianna and the kids — as far east as the Carolinas and as far west as Orange County, California, and back again.

Then four figure-eight loops around the country, full-time camper living with a family of seven and a husky named Blue, teaching permaculture design and regenerative paradigms.

Sharing the main stage

Last year in Iowa, Jamon and Joel Salatin were the event's only two keynote speakers — each speaking multiple times a day, including two private VIP sessions. Jamon has also been a featured speaker at Baker Creek's May Planting Festival, and teaches coast to coast as The Independent American Gardener, and into Canada.

Three commissioned reports on our exact twenty acres — a Regenerative Lens Report & Action Plan, a Landscape Health Report, and a Biodiversity Report — covering ecological site, watershed, land form, slope, solar, wind, precipitation, frost period and vegetation. The data is in hand and paid for. The full permaculture masterplan is what's next.

This farm isn't the point. It's the prototype.

Every system we build here is designed to leave this property — as hives on other people's land, as food on other people's tables, as a business model other families can run, as education we teach across the country.

We build the Generational Hive, ship it across the country, and teach natural beekeeping alongside it. Modern commodity beekeeping is degenerative and toxic to the bee — we're ending that cycle one family at a time. Our apiary will demonstrate the alternative in real time.

Holistic, real food has to return to the family table. The silvopasture systems and market garden in the plan are designed to feed far more than the nine of us — starting with the people nearest to us.

Blue Barn Dough's farm stand concept is built around unmanned, self-pay stands — no cashier, no gatekeeper. Everything is made fresh weekly and already selling, whatever doesn't sell goes to local shelters — and $3,000 builds the stand itself.

The feasibility studies and the design of this property are being recorded and documented into science-backed, real-world education — taught across North America through TIAG and Haven Permaculture, and from stages coast to coast and into Canada.

Our only limitation is financial. Once these systems are funded and built, they pay for themselves — and then we stop asking and start funding other families instead, through TIAG's circular economic models.

What's Next

The studies are done. The masterplan is next.

The feasibility work gave us the data for our exact acreage — watershed, land form, slope, solar, wind, frost, vegetation. What it doesn't give us yet is the full permaculture masterplan: the phased, costed design that turns that data into a working farm. That plan is the next thing we build.

The map beside this is our working concept — where things want to go. The masterplan turns it into a phased, costed build.

Once the masterplan is drawn, implementation runs in this order:

  • Water first — swales and water-holding earthworks on contour
  • Then the trees — orchard rows and the beginnings of a food forest
  • Then the garden — a market garden that starts paying its own way
  • Then the pasture — rotational grazing and silvopasture

None of it is in the ground yet. This is the order it happens in.

Thirty-one hives and thirty swarm traps are cut and sitting at our partner's CNC shop right now, every one of them our own design. $12,000 is already paid in — $5,000 more in materials and transport brings them home.

The Generational Hive is an insulated horizontal hive built for families, not commodity beekeeping: seven pounds of raw sheep's wool insulation, a built-in swarm-catch system, and doors simple enough that a child can work them. We assemble them in the container we're turning into a proper hive shop.

Bread from the blue barn

Blue Barn Dough is our family's farm stand — bread and rolls, cinnamon rolls, brownies, treats, facial scrubs, bath salts, homemade crafts and seasonal produce, made fresh weekly in the barn we live in.

It will run on the honor system. Unmanned stands, real food, self-pay — and whatever doesn't sell goes to local shelters. That's the model from day one. The goods already sell every week — the stand is designed, and $3,000 builds it.
